DISCLOSURE STATEMENT PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT OF 2010

Urban Hearts, Free 2 Luv, HeartSOUL and the other members of the Big Strike family of brands are dedicated to conducting business in a lawful and ethical manner. As a company, we support the efforts being made globally to eliminate slavery and human trafficking, and we believe in the right of all individuals to be free from slavery in the workplace. We expect that our suppliers also conduct themselves in a lawful and ethical manner, and we strive to ensure that our suppliers do not engage in practices such as human trafficking and slavery, although we understand that such practices can occur anywhere, and without our knowledge.

We source our apparel products and materials from suppliers that we believe to be both reputable and compliant with applicable laws and their own internal standards and policies prohibiting slavery and human trafficking. Although we do not currently have formal policies or procedures of our own in place, we believe that the company employees responsible for managing our supply chain have sufficient knowledge and experience to evaluate and assess the risks posed by each supplier, and to detect potential warning signs that a supplier may be failing to adhere to the proper standards or to monitor and ensure compliance by its own supply sources. Before entering into a supply relationship, our employees meet with the prospective supplier, review publicly available information on the supplier, and consider the supplier’s reputation within the industry. In addition, prior to and periodically during the course of any supplier relationship, our employees conduct pre-announced visits to the factories and other work sites of our supplier and review their policies, procedures and practices. In the course of these visits, our employees typically inspect the facilities of our suppliers and review the working conditions of their employees.

We are fortunate to have long-standing relationships with many of our suppliers, and that they have demonstrated over the years a commitment to compliance in these areas. Although it has not happened to date, if our employees ever detect that a supplier, either directly or indirectly through its own supply chain, is engaged in slavery, human trafficking or other exploitative labor practices, we will determine not to do business with the supplier, or we may address the matter directly with the supplier. Our accountability measures are straight-forward. If we are not satisfied with the supplier’s track record, response and/or commitment to adhere to proper standards and practices going forward, we will decline to do business with that supplier. In addition, any employee of ours who knows that a supplier is violating the law or its own internal labor standards and who fails to report it to his or her supervisor, department head or senior management is subject to our internal disciplinary procedures, including potential termination of employment.

In light of the knowledge and experience of our existing supply chain managers, we have not instituted formal employee training programs, nor have we utilized the services of outside third parties to audit or verify supplier compliance. Further, based in part on our long-standing relationships and positive track-records with our current suppliers, we have not historically required any formal certifications from them that the materials incorporated into our products comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking in the country or countries in which they are doing business. We recognize, however, the critical importance of these issues, and our moral and ethical obligation not to contribute to or support human exploitation in any form. Thus, we remain committed to evaluating and revising our practices as we determine to be necessary or appropriate to assure compliance and accountability by our suppliers going forward.

Big Strike is dedicated to sustainable practices making it a priority to limit our carbon footprint. Partnerships with GHG Protocol and World Wild Life help accomplish this goal. Through the amazing work of these organizations Big Strike is able to accurately measure greenhouse gas emissions and champion sustainable solutions within the supply chain.

As a company, Big Strike recycles 45 tons per year and limits water usage to 80,000 gallons. Big Strike’s Scope 1 emissions (direct GHG emissions) were reduced by 23% last year, accomplished by changes including installing environmentally friendly sensor lights in the entire corporate office as well as sky lights throughout the building and the warehouse. Scope 2 emissions (indirect GHG emissions) are only .942 tons per year lower than many industry practices.

Big Strike supports the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in The Shasta Trinity National Forrest. Through this plant program carbon emissions are decreased counter balancing scope 2 emissions. Big Strike will continue to keep sustainability a major focus company wide.
